Nicknamed "Pulchra Leonina" (the Beautiful Leonese), this Gothic cathedral begun around 1205 is famous for its medieval stained glass of the 13th to 15th centuries, one of the largest collections of its kind surviving in the world. With Burgos and Compostela itself, it forms the trio of the three great Gothic cathedrals of the Camino Francés.
