Monastère de San Zoilo

Carrión de los Condes

Founded before 948 and placed under the Cluniac rule in 1076, this monastery served as the pantheon of the counts of Carrión and was renowned for the bread and wine it offered "at will" to passing pilgrims, according to the local tradition of the Way.
