What stands there
1 church

Founded by Doña Mayor of Castile, widow of King Sancho III of Navarre, and attached from 1118 to the Cluniac priory of San Zoilo at Carrión, this church is considered one of the purest jewels of Spanish Romanesque art. Its restoration between 1894 and 1904 made it so accomplished a reference for the Romanesque style that it has since been studied as a model of the genre. A constituent element of the UNESCO listing of the routes to Santiago de Compostela in Spain (1993, extended in 2015).
