What stands there
1 oak tree

A hollow pedunculate oak, held to be one of the oldest trees of Brocéliande, on the edge of the forest. It bears the name of Abbé Pierre-Paul Guillotin, born at Concoret in 1750, parish priest of Saint-Servan driven out in 1791, who came back to hide in his native parish: legend has it that he took refuge in the hollow trunk, protected by a spider's web. His own register, published in 1853, says nothing of the oak; the spider episode is that of another refractory priest, Joachim Masson, at Mauron in 1797, attached to this tree in the twentieth century.

Getting there : Free access, at the hamlet of La Rue-Éon, west of the village of Concoret, about a hundred metres from the Château du Rox; the tree has been shedding branches since 2019 and the structure around it was removed, so it is viewed from a distance
