A church unlike any other in the world, decorated under the rector Henri Gillard, in post from 1942 to September 1962, with the work spanning 1943 to 1962, to wed Christian faith and the legends of the Round Table: mosaic of the White Stag, stained-glass window of the green Grail, Way of the Cross in which Morgan le Fay hides. A porch greets the visitor with the enigmatic inscription "La Porte est en dedans" ("The Door is within").
