What stands there
Registered as a monument historique (historic monument) on 7 December 1925, together with the cemetery wall surrounding it

Away from the village, in a complete parish close with its ossuary and its fountain, the chapel of Saint-Lubin keeps alive the memory of a 6th-century bishop of Chartres, a contemporary of Clovis, whose cult took root in central Brittany for one very precise reason: he is invoked against rheumatism. Tradition, still alive, has pilgrims sprinkle their aching limbs with water from the nearby fountain before going in to pray. The annual pardon, the Breton pilgrimage festival, celebrated at the end of August, continues to gather the people of the Kergrist-Moëlou area and of Haute-Cornouaille — the parish has even held baptisms there in recent years, a sign that this place remains an active centre of religious life and not merely a relic. The present building, from the mid-16th century, replaced an older parish church dedicated jointly to Saint Peter and Saint Lubin, before the parish was attached to Kergrist-Moëlou and the building became a chapel. For the visitor, the interest is twofold: the somewhat rugged solidity of 16th-century rural architecture, buttresses and ossuary included, and the persistence of a rite of healing by water found in few other Breton chapels with such documented continuity.
