What stands there
one of the oldest churches in Finistère
Former abbey church of the priory of Locmaria, cradle of the oldest district of Quimper and the oldest building in the city itself — founded in the 11th century, even before the cathedral of Saint-Corentin. The nave bears witness to the beginnings of Breton Romanesque art; the presbytery garden preserves remains of the Romanesque cloister of the 11th–12th centuries.
