据传说，爱尔兰修士埃弗拉姆（Efflam）约在470年登陆普勒斯坦（Plestin）的海滩，并让这眼泉水涌出，为亚瑟王解渴，当时亚瑟王正在拉尼翁湾（baie de Lannion）附近与一条龙搏斗——这是布列塔尼圣徒传记与亚瑟王题材罕见的交汇。历史学家们认为，这则拉丁文传说写成于11世纪末或12世纪初，距所谓事件已有数百年。这眼敬礼之泉仍留在现存礼拜堂（1883年，建在一座更早的16世纪建筑之上）的下方，继续被用于民间的占卜仪式。
