What stands there
202 cures recorded between June 1663 and January 1666

In August 1661, according to an account published as early as 1666 by the Carmelite father Michel du Saint-Esprit, the peasant Antoine de Nantes, aged 63 and crippled by a hernia, is said to have seen near the ruined chapel a great light and "the most beautiful Child": the vision faded at the very moment he found himself cured. Other villagers are said to have seen a light passing over the hills. A diocesan enquiry of 1663 recorded 202 cures in three years — facts reported by religious tradition and not verifiable today.
