What stands there
1 Romanesque chapel, nicknamed the "chapel of vertigo", listed as a historic monument in 1982

Nicknamed the "chapel of vertigo" for its dizzying position on the summit of a spur of columnar basalt overlooking the Alagnon valley, this Romanesque chapel preserves a fresco of Christ in Majesty and a porch known as "la Caqueteuse" (the chatterbox). A local legend, presented as such, tells that two hermits living on neighbouring rocks communicated by means of Mary Magdalene's rosary. An annual pilgrimage is held there on 22 July. Listed as a historic monument in 1982.
