What stands there
the only Romanesque Augustinian monastery preserved in Brittany
Founded by the canons of Saint Augustine, this abbey is the only monastery of that order preserved from the Romanesque period in Brittany — with Sainte-Croix in Guingamp, one of the only two surviving examples of this type of monastic architecture in the region. The west facade, the nave, the north aisle and three ranges of the cloister survive from the 12th century.
