Dimensions
resurgence gushing from a 5 m arch in the cliff
Period
Natural site listed by decree of 10 February 1921
What stands there
1 intermittent resurgence (60- to 90-minute cycle at low water)

An exceptional Vauclusian resurgence gushing from a 5-metre arch in the cliff, Fontestorbes has a regular intermittent regime — a cycle of 60 to 90 minutes at low water — unique in France for its scale, according to Wikipedia. Local tradition tells that a cave, now blocked, gave access to the dwelling of the "encantados", fairies who, when night fell, washed their linen there with golden beaters. Coordinates to be treated as approximate: no official cartographic source with precise coordinates could be cross-checked for this site.
