What stands there
1 main building (16th-century reconstruction on the Templar site)

Away from Bergheim, on the road to Thannenkirch, an isolated locality still bears the name "Tempelhof" — a direct memory of a commandery founded by the Templars in 1257. Passed to the Hospitallers after 1312, the estate was ravaged during the Peasants' Revolt of 1525 before being rebuilt between 1557 and 1559 — it is this 16th-century building that survives today, registered as a monument historique in 2000. It is one of the few documented Templar sites in Alsace, a region where the order's presence remains little known to the general public.
