奥弗涅五座大型罗曼式圣殿（basilique）之一，建于1146至1178年。奥尔西瓦尔圣母的威严像（Majesté de Notre-Dame d'Orcival）是一尊游行用雕像，胡桃木贴金箔，年代约为1170年——因此与建筑同时代——面容五官不对称，圣婴的脸如成人，手持福音书，坐在一座饰有受古代浮雕宝石启发的浮雕的宝座上。此后，每逢耶稣升天节星期四都有一年一度的朝圣，这一天，人们赤脚列队走到附近的泉边（参见奥尔西瓦尔圣母礼拜堂与圣泉的条目）。
