埃波分团（commanderie des Épeaux）自13世纪起成为圣殿骑士团管区（baillie）的首邑，管理桑特（Saintes）地区若干附属的驻地。14世纪它经历了艰难的数十年，遭受百年战争的蹂躏和1348年黑死病的打击。其已知的最后一位圣殿骑士团分团长于格·德·纳尔扎克（Hugues de Narzac），在1311年修会的大审判中受到讯问。如今的住所历经数百年大幅改动，已看不出圣殿骑士团最初的布局，仍是一处不对公众开放的私人农业产业。
