What stands there
1 chapel

The chapel of Saint-Lubin, in the Gothic ("ogival") style, was built in the 13th century and remained unfinished; it ends in a flat east end characteristic of the period. It stands at the heart of the fortified village of Yèvre-le-Châtel, built on a rocky spur and endowed with a keep and ramparts dating from the time of Philip Augustus. Listed as a historic monument by decree of 12 July 1886, it bears witness to the Gothic religious architecture of the Gâtinais orléanais. The village, today largely deserted after a decline beginning in the 17th century, has preserved an almost intact medieval layout around the fortress and the chapel. It is recognised among the "Plus Beaux Villages de France".
