What stands there
1 ruined castle on three rocks, 1 neighbouring fortified oppidum (Wüstenberg) with dry-stone wall

This ruined castle, built on three sandstone spurs and recorded as early as 1187, was besieged by Strasbourg in 1382 before being rebuilt and then burnt down in the 16th century. Nearby, the fortified plateau of the Wüstenberg, occupied from pre-Roman times and refortified in the 4th–5th centuries, yielded La Tène pottery in 1850; a local rock nicknamed the "Pierre des Druides" (Druids' Stone) bears a carved basin and an engraving that some local historians interpret as a serpent — a reading put forward with caution, and not archaeologically confirmed. Listed as a monument historique (historic monument).
