What stands there
Sacred well, recorded in the general heritage inventory (Mérimée IA00070538)

According to hagiographic tradition, the water of this well restored the sight of Gerontia, mother of Saint Geneviève, who had been struck blind after slapping her daughter for going out to pray at night. Twenty-one months later, remembering Geneviève's words, she is said to have moistened her eyes with this water and recovered her sight. The well, still renowned for its virtues in the 18th century, now stands in the courtyard of the presbytery of Nanterre cathedral, in the birthplace of the patron saint of Paris.
