What stands there
1 spring, 1 lime tree with a votive niche
Local legend tells that Saint Martin, meeting villagers suffering from eye complaints and short of water, saw his donkey strike the ground with its hoof, causing a miraculous spring to gush forth; the saint shared out the water among the inhabitants, who built a chapel in thanks. The spring has been reputed ever since to cure eye ailments. A neighbouring lime tree bears a votive niche with a statue of the saint, where visitors used to nail pieces of cloth as offerings. Rogation processions were still held here until 1994, during Ascension week.
